ABOUT JARED MILLSAP
Hi, my name is Jared Millsap. I am an alumnus of Alabama A&M University. I hold a bachelors degree in Business Management and a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering. As a student I became a simultaneous member of the Alabama National Guard, where I served part-time as a Combat Construction Engineer. My time in the military led me to pursue a Masters in Systems and Materiel Engineering. I currently work in the missiles and defense Industry as a systems engineer. As an se I\'ve had the opportunity to work on some really cool projects leveraging business and engineering training, with the ability to understand/decompose complex systems and communicate them across IPTs within an organization. Key objectives in my role as a systems engineer include creating a collaborative environment amongst multiple stakeholders to drive design solutions applying a Model-Based systems engineering approach. Writing, managing and decomposing requirements; Developing architectural diagrams (Use Case, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, block definition diagrams, Internal Block Diagrams, etc.) I look forward to continue to grow my knowledge base and add value to the systems engineering community.
