Jared is a Principal and Actuary in the Retirement business in Mercer\'s Winnipeg office. Jared joined Mercer in manages client relationships and provides advice on the design and funding of pension plans, financial reporting of pension and benefit obligations, pension risk strategies, and pension plan conversions and wind-ups. Jared was recently appointed as the Canadian leader of Mercer\'s Actuarial Resource Network with respect to the funding of defined benefit pension plans. He is also a member of Mercer\'s Manitoba pension legislation team.Jared earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial and Management Sciences from the University of Manitoba in He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.Jared has been a presenter for the Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute Pension Fundamentals program. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Osvita Foundation Inc. and was previously on the Board of Directors of Manitoba Parents for Ukrainian Education.
