About Jared Matthews

I am a licensed Professional Engineer with over 20 years of comprehensive design and commissioning experience in all levels of HVAC and plumbing systems for laboratories, churches, schools, universities, small and large commercial and governmental facilities. I keep an updated National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Record (NCEES) if I need to get another state license quickly. I also am a LEED AP+ with a Building, Design and Construction (BD & C) specialty. I have experience in energy analyses and LEED NC evaluations, having provided LEED checklists and narratives. I have extensive knowledge of most design software, including Carrier’s HAP, Trane Trace 700, AutoDesk’s AutoCAD and Revit MEP, HVAC Solutions Pro and Bentley Building Mechanical Systems V8 XM. As the project engineer/technical lead my current duties include producing specifications, drawings, calculations, narratives and an over complete final design for the projects that I am assigned. I also assist in the development of proposals, proposal estimates and construction estimates.
