About Jared Jensen

Jared has a Masters in Accountancy Cum Laude from BYU\'s Marriott School of Business. After graduating, he earned his CPA license (currently inactive) and worked 4 busy seasons at Deloitte in Cincinnati, OH in the audit practice, working with clients such as Procter and Gamble, Cincinnati Financial Group, Al Neyer, Inc. Audit engagements included insurance (life and property/casualty), design-build, employee benefits, manufacturing, and software as a service.An opportunity in 2009 to lead the finance team at PRECOA (then called \"Lincoln Heritage Funeral Planning\") presented a unique challenge and opportunity. PRECOA has become the fastest growing preneed company and has increased policy sales from $72 million in 2009 to over $300 million 2017. As an adaptable, fast learner, Jared\'s skills have been put to use in a variety of ways, leading the accounting and payroll teams, providing key financial analytics, forecasting, legal and contract review, and employee benefits. Additionally, he has played a key role working on and with the strategy team and sales compensation team.While not at work, Jared is frequently leading his family on outdoor expeditions on biking and hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest, looking for the nearest disc golf course, playing a strategy board game, or trying a new restaurant or food cart. He has a knack for remembering statistics, work and non-work related, has an affinity to weather forecasting, and enjoys following highway and construction projects.
