I am currently a trial attorney in the Federal Major Crimes, Criminal Division. As an AUSA, I have served as lead counsel investigating: public officials; bank, wire and tax fraud; money laundering; bank robbery; submitting false statements to a government agency; civil rights violations and hate crimes; assault with intent to kill; armed carjacking; armed robbery; felony assault; and domestic violence crimes.As lead counsel, I handle all aspects of case development and strategy, including:(i) scope, timing, and direction of hundreds of criminal investigations;(ii) identification, preparation, interviewing, and examination of dozens of coordination with federal and local law enforcement agencies;(iv) evidence gathering and discovery;(v) motions practice;(vi) evaluating testimonial and documentary evidence, and optics, in preparation for indictment and trial;(vii) plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing; and researching complex legal questions.
