About Jared Cox

Dr. Jared Cox seeks to discover the upper limits of human achievement. He speaks on the ways in which we hold ourselves back from achieving our best, and the ways in which we learn to blow past those barriers and discover our best selves. Jared is especially concerned with starting dialogues to uncover unconscious biases, attitudes, and prejudices that keep us from connecting openly with our fellow human beings. In a highly polarized era, Jared seeks to establish bridges to neighbors near and far, across age groups, cultural groups, and nationalities. Jared faced the same fears we all struggle with growing up – in his case in Oklahoma - and worked hard to find the courage to overcome them. He went to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and then after earning a chemistry degree at Harding, he attended Oklahoma University Medical Center for a doctorate degree in dentistry. He was a dentist for more than 20 years, witnessing the best and worst of humanity on a daily basis. He currently maintains professional associations with the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, from which he earned recognition as a Fellow beginning in 2007.
