Hi! My name is Jared Buckman, and I am a student at WashU studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics. I’m passionate about combining technology, problem-solving, and creativity to build solutions that make an impact.My goal to inspire and help others naturally drives me to take leadership positions in clubs and activities I care about. Through my year-long senior capstone project, which combined technology and hydroponics, I developed a passion for sustainable engineering and human-centered design. My coursework in economics has also sparked my interest in analytical work, helping me develop skills in data interpretation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.I’m always excited to connect with others who share interests in engineering, economics, and sustainability.
