ABOUT JARED A. BEAN

With over 20 years of technical expertise and leadership in electronics and tactical telecommunications, I am currently a Field Applications Engineer at Ultra Intelligence & Communications. In this role, I bridge the gap between the Business Development team and the core engineering team, providing critical presales support for tactical RF systems. I work closely with customers to understand their needs, communicate technical challenges and requirements, and ensure our solutions align with their operational goals.I have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support and optimizing system performance in both controlled and austere environments—whether as an active-duty service member, a Defense Contractor, or a private-sector Field Engineer.My core competencies include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing satellite and line-of-sight RF systems, ground and airborne radio systems, narrowband and wideband satellite communications, SDR IP mesh radios, and other C5ISR equipment. I have supported these systems in both presales and post-sales environments, as well as within critical service contracts. Additionally, I have a strong foundation in TCP/IP network fundamentals, including configuring and troubleshooting networks and Cisco routers and switches.With six years of experience as a certified instructor in the USMC, I have developed and delivered highly technical training on satellite communications theory, fundamentals, system planning, operations, and advanced troubleshooting.My mission is to provide top-tier engineering support, compelling product demonstrations, and seamless customer engagement. By leveraging my deep domain expertise in RF systems and wireless networking, I aim to drive customer success, enhance business development efforts, and deliver valuable technical feedback to Ultra’s engineering team.
