CERCA, launched in 1994, was founded at the direct request of the Internal Revenue Service to provide a forum and liaison point between the IRS, the tax industry, and other key stakeholders. Its goal was to support the development of electronic filing and advanced electronic tax administration. CERCA is proud to have contributed to the phenomenal growth of e-file and numerous technological innovations led by the IRS.Since its inception, CERCA’s membership has reflected the diversity of the industry—from tax software firms to the largest tax preparation chains, major technology integrators, and financial service providers offering banking products and credit card solutions.Jared serves on the Board of Directors, where he provides leadership and strategic insight in support of CERCA’s mission and the nation’s voluntary tax compliance system.
