ABOUT JARED ADOLFSEN
As a rising second-year law student at Wake Forest University School of Law, I am continuing to build on a strong foundation in economics, legal experience, and academic achievement. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Philosophy. My background has strengthened my ability to think critically, evaluate information from multiple angles, and communicate effectively, being skills that have proven valuable throughout my legal education and professional experiences. During my 1L year, I won the Wake Forest 2024 Transactional Law Competition and competed in the Duke 2025 Interscholastic Transactional Law Competition as part of the only all-1L team. I now serve as a board member of Wake Forest’s Transactional Law Competition team and as an Honor Council representative for my class, reflecting my commitment to both professional development and ethical leadership. During my gap year before law school, I gained hands-on experience working at Lite and Russell, PLLC, a respected personal injury law firm in West Islip, New York. There, I collaborated with attorneys on active cases, conducted legal research, and engaged with clients, gaining valuable insight into the legal profession. Prior to that, while an undergraduate student, I interned at both the Suffolk County Supreme Court and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in New York, where I worked closely with attorneys and the judge, observed courtroom proceedings, and gained exposure to the legal system from both judicial and prosecutorial perspectives. I am committed to advancing my legal education while making a meaningful impact in the legal field. I look forward to continuing to grow as a student and future attorney through academic engagement, leadership, and hands-on legal experience.
