About Jarad Lyons

First and foremost, I love what I do, and I take immense pride in the industry that I serve. I firmly believe that the real and ultimate purpose of procuring Insurance is often lost in the “cheaper is better” sales process. Although the price is a factor in any purchase, favorable terms and conditions of a mutually designed program should outweigh any generic insurance product. I believe that Insurance is a critical financial tool that can integrate into a proactive Risk Management Plan, along with active communication, education and a team approach we can create a favorable program and a risk that an insurance carrier can price competitively. I started my career at Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2007 in Denver, CO. I started an office In Grand Junction, Colorado, at the age of 24. In 4 short years, I was able to grow from zero clients to 70 clients that generated over in annual premium primarily in the Construction and Energy Sector. In 2011 I moved to Durango Colorado with Mountain West Insurance as their 2nd employee in Durango and their 20th employee agency-wide. With a new territory, I was able to focus on other industries that include Construction, Schools, Municipalities, and Sovereign Nations. During my time at Mountain West, I have handled some of our most significant and most complex accounts within the agency. Clients over in premium clients in multiple states and clients that sought advice on complicated insurance matters. In 2019, I founded Red Rocks Insurance to continue my passion for helping business owners with the insurance buying process. After almost 13 years in the industry, I still enjoy solving problems and coming up with solutions, and I look forward to being part of the future of this industry.
