ABOUT JAPNEET B.
As a graduate Research Assistant at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, I am passionate about developing technology-driven solutions to optimize clinical diagnosis and rehabilitation techniques. I have an M.Sc. in Neurocognitive Psychology, with a specialization in statistical analysis. I have extensive experience in designing research studies, data collection, computational analysis, statistical analysis and visualization, using various tools such as MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, SAS, RStudio, Tableau, and PowerBI. I have also worked with various research methodologies and neuroimaging devices, such as DTI, fMRI, EEG, MEG, HCI, Neurofeedback, and eye-tracking. Currently, I am working on a project that aims to develop a mobile health (mHealth) assessment tool for stroke patients, using psychometric tests to measure memory and executive functioning. I have tested the tool on more than 100 individuals, following the ICH-GCP guidelines, and analysed the psychometric quality and the correlation with other comorbidities. Previously, I have worked as a research assistant in various research labs, where I designed research projects and experiments, reported descriptive metrics in the psychiatric department, developed an open-source database, and conducted user research. I have also developed the open-source Indian Face Set, extending the Chicago Face Database, and conducted statistical modelling and visualization of the normative data. I am looking for career opportunities that allow me to apply my skills and knowledge in clinical research, neuroimaging, and data science, and to contribute to the advancement of the field. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other professionals, and to make a positive impact on the lives of people. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in my work. Looking forward to new connections.
