About Janvi Ghatalia
I am a strategist, focused on creating impact through design thinking and community-centered research. I help organizations gain the clarity needed to make the biggest impact possible. Currently, I am the Lead Strategy and Design Consultant at DC Design. I collaborate with governments, foundations, nonprofits and other companies to address systemic inequities faced by Black and brown communities in America. I work with clients to find answers to questions like - What are the biggest needs of the communities you are serving? How can your programs and services address those needs? What do we need to change to serve the most vulnerable populations? How can we identify the greatest leverage point to create the maximum impact with the resources available today? How can we challenge our biases and assumptions to move toward a more equitable future? My recent work has focused on education, healthcare, economic development, food justice, and disability. With a background in industrial product design, game design, business and design for social impact, I have developed a wide range of skills to understand complex ecosystems, identify gaps and turn insights into design opportunities.
