Undergraduate First-Year with Sophomore standing by credit.My family and I had immigrated from the Philippines to escape its poor political climate. I had recently gotten naturalized in October 2025 to attain U.S. citizenship. Back at home, I had many relatives who were susceptible to illness due to my nation\'s lack of opportunity which prevented us from affording a healthy lifestyle. My passion for healthcare is rooted in my family inaccessibility to such growing up. Each step I take toward the path I desire stems from my wishes to support my loved ones and my drive to prove that it is possible to go beyond what is said to be the established limit for those who come from less fortunate backgrounds.
