ABOUT JANNAH TORIO
I am in my first year of Foundations in Health Studies at Langara College, where I will complete my prerequisites to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.I am driven by a passion for learning and gaining new experiences. As a Youth Ministry Core Team Leader at Corpus Christi Parish, I continue to enhance my leadership, collaboration, decision-making, and delegation skills, which I’ve developed through my experience as the Vice President of the 20••••25 Killarney Secondary School Choirs. With this position, I was honoured to receive the Killarney Music Association (KMA)- Outstanding Choir Leadership Award (June 2025) for my leadership, delegation, decision-making, and organizational skills. I am currently working as a Kumon Assistant Tutor, where I continue to hone my time management and instructional skills while teaching Math and English.Captivated by public health advocacy and ensuring the safety and care of individuals, I am drawn to the extensive role of healthcare professionals in people\'s lives. As an aspiring Nurse, I am determined to make a difference and contribute to my community that will leave a lasting impact.
