Responsible for the day-to-day clinical and general operational management within the assignedprograms, ensuring quality of care to clients/patients and executing the planning of human and material resources. Provides leadership to the rehabilitative services interprofessional team achieving optimal outcomes and recovery for clients/patients and families. Establishes standards of care in accordance with patient/client needs, profession specific practice standards and program requirements, in conjunction with the Directors.Manages performance of direct reports including, ongoing coaching, mentoring, counseling and/or disciplinary action, involving other relevant stakeholders as appropriate. Provides expertise in the ongoing enhancement to service design and delivery models and quality improvement initiatives through attendance at appropriate working groups, daily interaction with staff, maintenance of current knowledge etc.Develops goals and objectives in collaboration with the Operational and Clinical Directors/Leads in support of overall program and corporate strategic directions and evolving directions within the health care system.
