They are a leading project developer, advisor and provider of global climate services As a Regional Manager, Sustainable Technologies for South Asia & Middle East region the responsibilities are: • Specialisation: Green Hydrogen, BioChar, Cookstoves, Biogas, Mini-Grids (C&I), Energy Efficiency • Focus on Article 6, JCM (Joint Credit Mechanism), Renewable energy and sustainable technology emission reduction project, climate change mitigation & adaptation, energy efficiency, household projects, plastic waste reduction, recycling projects sourcing (identification, assessment and contracting) • Conduct research & Collect data from project owners relevant to new project leads, Project financing plans & budgets, Relevant regulatory regimes/policies for due diligence, Technical & Financial assessments, and Legal documentation (ERPA) • Providing Advisory & Consulting services on Environmental market products such as Renewable Energy Certificates, I-RECs / D-RECs, carbon credits and plastic reductions credits • Assess technical and commercial viability of project leads, Prepare commercial proposals, draft contracts and reports, Create and negotiate commercial terms, Close contracts (Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements) for commencement of partnership and project development • Attend meetings/ seminars/ workshops/ events that are strategic for the sourcing & project team’s activities
