ABOUT JAN KOLANSKI

I have 15 years of experience working in different IT roles: Software development, requirements engineering, project management, product management, scaled methods, organizational development and people leadership. Currently, I am the Head of Product at Ladenzeile, a product comparison platform. In our team of product managers we aim to create a product that enables customers in multiple European countries to find their favorites. For more than 10 years I have worked in product management and agile environments. I enabled digital transformations and shaped product organizations with more than 15 teams. I developed more than 25 product managers and their teams into empowered product teams. I have leadership experience as a direct manager as well as in lateral roles. I established and facilitated companywide product cultures for > 100 colleagues in different settings. I have created product visions and strategies that inspired companies and delivered on them together with my teams.I have been able to learn and use my expertise in different domains and I like to diving into new areas. My main areas of expertise are eCommerce and Fulfillment.I believe in tailored approaches for different organizations that fit to the company.
