   I assist customers with job development and job lead information. I interview participants helping them to increase their employability- identify employment skills, abilities and barriers; develop goals and plans to improve skills and abilities; provide career guidance, employment and training counseling; provide labor market information related to local employment opportunities. I represent BAN & Placer County at events such as Career/Job Fairs, business forums, resource events & provide presentations at the request of business groups/associations. I also provide information to local businesses on Work Experience, Subsidized Employment and other business services. The goal of Business Advantage Network is to help keep the unemployment rate in Placer County as low as possible and to guide people who are seeking employment the resources available to them.
