About Janis Asaris
I was born in Riga, Latvia, and currently, I am pursuing a bachelor\'s degree at Kansas State University. Throughout my academic career, I have developed an interest in banking and the M&A industry. I am a part of the selective K-State Finance Scholars program designated for high-achieving students interested in the investment banking industry and the buy side of the financial markets. Through the program, I attend workshops led by industry experts to increase my financial acumen in preparation for a career in the finance sector. This past summer, I served as an intern at CC Capital Advisors, working as their Investment Banking Summer Analyst. I gained skills centered around financial analysis and modeling and established an in-depth understanding of the sell-side M&A process. I love to stay active by golfing and traveling around the world to explore new places and cultures.
