Responsibilities include the creation of a firm wide Enterprise Data Governance Function while driving the cultural change to a more data centric firm. Defined and built a distributed data ownership model which includes roles and responsibilities for senior business leaders accountable for data (Data Stewards), business leaders responsible for data (Data Owners), technology leaders (Data Custodians) as well as a centralized Data Governance Organization. Created and implemented a Data Governance Framework with a focus on tools and practices to support Data Content and Data Quality, as well as a communication strategy on progress in the Data Governance space. The communication strategy is multifaceted and includes reporting to the Firm’s Enterprise Data Governance Steering Committee, videos, interviews well as communication through a Firmwide Data Ambassador community who is charged with ensuring the firm is realizing the benefits of gains in our data. The Continuous Improvement aspect of this role includes partnering with the Data Stewards and Data Custodians as well as Business Process Managers and our Global Technology partners to identify and analyze business processes which are challenged due to data. Outputs of this analysis which include conceptual data models, business and technical process maps, from data origination to consumption, as well as data profiling analyses are used to identify and solve for opportunities in the firm\'s Business Processes and Technology systems which lead to improved firmwide operational efficiency
