ABOUT JANINE COLLIER

I head the Award Winning and Top Tier Legal 500 Medical Negligence Team at Tees. We help our clients to understand what happened; to access the best possible treatment and rehabilitation; to secure maximum compensation; and to be able to positively plan for the future. I have extensive experience in all kinds of medical negligence cases, but more recently I have sub-specialised in cases involving: Child birth injury, e.g.#cerebralpalsy; Maternal birth injury such as incontinence after childbirth; Adult brain injuries, particularly cases involving delays in diagnosing a brain tumour and #strokes; delayed diagnosis of #sepsis;#amputation; and #sightloss. My expertise, coupled with access to a network of leading medical professionals, enables me to swiftly identify the case issues, to give straightforward realistic advice at the outset and to achieve the best possible outcomes. Going above and beyond anticipating the need for assistance and support throughout the litigation progress, I work with my colleagues to ensure that our clients receive access to financial advice and support, case management and rehabilitation services. I love my work! Being a medical negligence lawyer is more than a job – it’s a calling, driving me to make a positive and tangible difference in people’s lives. Every case is a chance to make a meaningful impact – we are a voice for the vulnerable, we help clients to navigate complex legal and medical landscapes, we seek redress for individuals and we have the opportunity to drive positive change within the healthcare system. As individuals and as a business, we have a duty and responsibility to be good citizens in the communities and world we live in and I am grateful to have the opportunity to led, shape and implement the next stage of Tees\' ESG journey in my role as Co-Head of ESG.
