Researching sustainable urban development for the GEMDev programme (Grounded Energy Modelling for Equitable Urban Development in the Global South): I investigate the implications of in-situ slum redevelopment in India on thermal comfort, energy costs and gender justice. For this, I designed and conducted focus group discussions with women in redeveloped settlements in Gujarat, India. • Reviewing and evaluating green economy concepts and indicators in the UK context• Teaching assistant for several modules on the political economy of climate change and sustainable business governance
