Compute Platform Team • Designed and implemented an EKS cluster wide Ingress solution, including TLS termination at the load balancer and DNS resolution using the AWS load balancer controller, ACM certificate manager and ExternalDNS • Designed and setup the continuous deployment pipeline flow for kubernetes services, including stages to provision AWS resources and Datadog monitors via terraform and deploy kubernetes objects via helm charts • Increased service availability for 100% of services on the platform by implementing pod level features such as pod readiness gates and pod anti affinity rules • Deployed cluster add-ons including Calico for network policy reinforcement, ALB controller to provision AWS load balancers, ExternalDNS to dynamically create route53 records for k8s objects, OPA gatekeeper and policy CRDs
