ABOUT JANIK JASKOLSKI

Combining passion with expertise results in impact. My passion is creating value for patients. My expertise lies in AI, ML & NLP. The impact I strive for is to leverage these tools to provide Pharma with access to every patient voice out there. Let’s make patients’ lives better, together.Once you truly get to know patients, you cannot resist the urge to help. At least, I can’t. Ever since I first studied what Oncology, MS, and Crohn’s patients share, I understand that chronic health burdens are constantly on patients’ minds. No day passes without thinking about them. There is always the urge to find a solution or share one’s experience with others. I believe that when patients share, Pharma has the opportunity to listen. And, what other industry has access to readily available & authentic information of what the people using their products & services truly need?In reality, the data is available; but it is just too much to wrap a human head around it. What I’ve learned ever since I started coding at 15, though, is that computers can support humans with exactly this: managing complexity. I specialised in developing tech that breaks down complexity for Pharma and makes patient voices accessible in just a few clicks. Pharma professionals deal with enough complexity, their tools should make their lives easier and not more complicated. Tech should think like Pharma: how can make people’s lives better?Having spent the past 5 years working with top Pharma companies, I can say with certainty that there are tremendous professionals who won’t stop working until every single patient need is addressed. I want to support these people. If you are one of them, please reach out!Personal life- Started coding at the age of 15, became fascinated with Machine Learning at 17, dedicated myself to making it accessible to everyone/leveraging it for society at 21- Learned the importance of continuous & collaborative learning from loving parents who dedicated their lives to teaching- Passionate about e-sports with a deep love for complex strategy games; Got into the top 1k in Starcraft2 in the EU- Curious to try every sporting discipline at least once in life; already tried \"Diving, Surfing, Rock climbing, Archery, Racing, Martial arts, Downhill longboarding\", do you have any recommendations- Often impatient with progress but patient with people
