ABOUT JANIE MOORE
I attended Texas State University for my bachelor\'s degree in exercise and sports science and I completed my Master\'s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2018 at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. I currently work for Encompass Health as a Rehab Marketing Clinical Liaison. Prior to this I worked for EmpowerMe Wellness as the Director of Rehab at Dancing River Assisted Living and Solstice Senior Living in Grapevine, TX. Formally held same position at Sage Spring Senior Living in San Marcos, TX. I am passionate about working with adults experiencing set backs in functional independence impacting their daily lives as result of illness or injury and assisting them to achieve personal goals by participating in meaningful daily routines/leisure activities at their highest level of independence. I have worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, home health, in-patient rehab and assisted living.Outside of work you can find me on a soccer field playing, coaching, watching and assisting high school girls competitive youth club programs in Texas. I also love to travel, read, cook and attend professional soccer games in USA and Europe.
