As LinkedIn’s #1 Top Voice in Racial Equity, I help organizations build workplaces where employees can grow and contribute meaningfully. My work centers on reimagining systems, fostering innovation, and addressing the human side of work to drive sustainable transformation. Drawing from my PhD research on hiring bias and 10+ years of experience, I help companies identify unseen challenges and implement research-based interventions that foster trust, belonging, and resilience in an increasingly automated world.I’ve spent over a decade teaching at universities in New York and Connecticut and currently serve as an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University. This informs my approach to bridging theory and practice—especially at the intersections of equity, ethics, and technology.I founded BWG Business Solutions, an award-winning business that strengthens organizations by improving systems and empowering teams. I’ve written three Amazon bestselling books—Dirty Diversity, The Pink Elephant, and Decentering Whiteness in the Workplace, with a forthcoming book Rise and Resist coming February 2026. My 500+ Forbes articles reflect my commitment to advancing equity across people, processes, and platforms. My YouTube channel (23K+ subscribers) shares reflections on my lived experiences as a Black woman and explores identity, race, tech, and equity. Experience
Linkedin Learning Instructor
Mar 2023 — Present
In my LinkedIn Learning course: Awareness to Action: Level Up as a Change Agent in Your Organization, I discuss how power works within an organization, so you can identify it more effectively on the job. I also provide learnings with guidance on how to understand your own internalized beliefs and how they affect your understanding of different communities. This course will help you learn how to recognize, reduce, and respond to microaggressions, tokenization, and exclusionary behavior. We will also discuss strategies to address systemic inequity, and the importance of: centering your efforts on marginalized employees, amplifying the voices of others, and building community-wide coalitions for a more equitable workplace. As of December 2024, over students have taken this course.
