ABOUT JANICE ANDRADE
With over ten years of experience in the field of education and community development, I am passionate about creating positive social change and empowering marginalized communities. I collaborate with various stakeholders, such as community organizations, schools, and residents, to design and deliver effective and culturally responsive interventions and services. I also leverage my skills in community outreach, program development, and data analysis to monitor and improve the program outcomes and impact. Previously, I worked as the Program Director at the GRYD Foundation, where I managed and supported a wrap-around program that provided direct services and referrals to at-risk youth and families. I hold a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Arts in Education degree from California State University-Los Angeles. I am fluent in English and Bisaya and have a First Aid and CPR certification. My goal is to use my education, expertise, and experience to contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable society.
