My experience includes:* 46 years of nursing experience with an emphasis in home health care, gastrointestinal endoscopy, medical-surgical, orthopedic-neurological and military nursing.* 20+ years in home health care with experience in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Texas and Mississippi.* 16 years as a legal nurse consultant, assisting attorneys to decipher the complex issues in their medical legal cases.* Directed the quality assurance programs for three different home health agencies, ensuring they met or exceeded Medicare/Medicaid standards of care.* Six + years in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Directed the infection control program. Assisted the center to receive deficiency free inspections by both Medicare and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.* Three years active duty in the U.S. Air Force, half of which was as a hospital supervisor of a 270 bed hospital.* Five years U.S. Air Force Reserves as a flight nurse and aero medical staging nurse.
