It takes courage to step off of the familiar to embrace the new and unknown future, but when you do, the possibilities are endless.” HOW IT BEGAN:What began as working on the shop floor and running parts for Polaris has turned into a remarkable career in manufacturing as a Plant Manager and Director of Manufacturing, leading teams of over 100. After graduating from Southwestern Technical College with my Associate of Applied Science, I joined Polaris as a production operator. My passion was problem-solving and designing solutions was evident, and I was promoted into leadership. In 2012, I joined Shaver Manufacturing as a Continuous Improvement Manager, where I brought structure, change, and process improvement to team of 20.I joined Eaton Corporation as a Production Supervisor in 2014 and was promoted to Production Manager leading a team of 91 in this $61M facility. During my time with Eaton, I earned my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. In 2017, I was recruited to Horton as the Plant Manager of their $29M Carmel, IN plant, where I was instrumental in creating a unified team of over 100 working towards a common goal. Additionally, I led the ISO14001:2015 recertification process and the implementation of IATF16949:2016 certification.While I’ve had many successes, I am proudest of the relationships I’ve built and the trust that others have in me.
