About Janey Matejka

I have a B.A. in psychology from Scripps College, where I graduated with honors and was a four-year recipient of the Trustee Merit Scholarship. I also received a minor in foreign languages (Mandarin and French).Throughout my time at Scripps, I worked in three research laboratories and conducted independent research for my senior thesis,\"Fetishized and Blamed: Attitudes Toward Asian American Women as Victims/Survivors of Sexual Assault\". My thesis received both the Margaret Siler Faust Award (given to the senior whose thesis best exemplifies outstanding psychological research), and the Lois Langland Award (given to psychology students who propose to carry out empirical research on attributes and functioning of women in their various capacities as individuals and as members of society). I look forward to pursuing a career in research and clinical work.
