About Janet Walls

My passion is working with individuals and organizations to provide clarity and order during times of transition and change. My thirty years of service in financial and operations roles allows me to bring a mix of analysis, wisdom, and experience to my clients. My strongest attributes include my critical thinking and problem solving skills, the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, and the flexibility to serve as both a leader and a team player. I excel at identifying factors that limit performance while working with leadership to develop and implement processes that produce results-oriented solutions. I utilize a calm, relationship management approach to bring clarity during periods of ambiguity and change. In addition to my consulting and coaching practice, I serve as a Leadership Development Coach for the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University. My previous positions include Vice President-Operations for International Scholarship & Tuition Services, Chief Financial Officer for Cabedge.com, Consultant for Core Resources and Vice President-Operations for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. My career began in the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Company and I later served as Tax Supervisor for Volunteer Capital Corporation. I have a M.Ed. in Learning and Organizational Change and a BBA in Accounting from Belmont University. In 2007, I was honored as a Women of Influence by the Nashville Business Journal and quoted my greatest professional accomplishment as \"seeking innovative ways to work that balance career and family.\" Specialties: Guiding organizations through change initiatives during mergers, acquisitions, startup and reorganization, facilitating healthy communication in business environments, strategic project management, relationship management.
