Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), I have responsibility for company-wide internal communications for Western Alliance Bank, one of the country’s top-performing banking companies with assets exceeding $85 billion. Working with the CHRO and executive leadership, I develop strategies to inspire and engage more than 3,600 employees across the country and deepen their commitment to our culture. Responsible for a company-wide internal communication strategy, including content, medium, frequency and branding. Primary accountabilities include:• Maintaining and updating the company\'s SharePoint intranet site/The HUB, including drafting engaging content. • Sourcing and producing content for weekly internal newsletter, ‘In The Know’, delivered via email to all employees, with the goal of improving team member engagement, reducing email volume and driving more traffic to the company intranet. • Promoting company culture initiatives including storytelling, internal marketing and team member recognition programs.• Overseeing Viva Engage platform where team members interact in various communities, including the company’s nine Business Resource Groups (BRGs).• Creating communications plans as well as a regular flow of other written materials, including emails, talking points, video scripts, PowerPoint presentations and intranet articles.• Supporting coordination and execution of content for the CEO Town Hall meetings, key events, publications, projects and other meetings, including presentations.• Managing company’s external employer branding efforts by monitoring and responding to reviews from current and former employees on Glassdoor and Indeed, and providing and/or assisting with production of LinkedIn content. • Building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to help determine and address their short- and long-term communications needs.• Serving as member of company’s Safety Team crafting internal communications during crises.
