ABOUT JANETTE BROWN
Janette C. Brown, Ed.D Dr. Brown is the assistant vice provost for the USC Emeriti Center, adjunct faculty at the USC Davis School of Gerontology and served as volunteer executive director for AROHE.org (Association of Retirement Organizations in Higher Education) for 14 years. She connects the University of Southern California and community with the USC retiree community and creates programs and partnerships that are interdisciplinary, multigenerational and multicultural. Brown has conducted survey research on campus-based retiree organizations, managed grants, has a background in career services, is trained as a life and career coach and has given presentations in the US and abroad. She provides consulting advice for universities and has authored and co-authored book chapters for the American Council on Education and other higher education organizations. Janette serves on the boards of the Association of Retirement Organizations in Higher Education and the Leo Buscaglia Foundation.
