Hi everyone-I’ve been a bit quiet on LI as I’ve made a major career pivot. For the last year I’ve been working in the funeral industry. I’ve had the honor of working with people to help them pre-arrange funeral and cemetery plans, for themselves or a loved one. IYKYK- the level of empathy and compassion I bring to my families serves me well. I found this field to be so fascinating, beyond anything I imagined. The knowledge is never-ending, whether it be new industry trends or cultural/religious practices. My own life experience allows me to meet people where they are, work collaboratively to design a plan that exactly meets their needs, and provide them with the peace of mind that comes with having a plan. We don’t talk enough about death and dying and making plans around the inevitable. I will continue to share with you my insights, and I encourage you to join the conversation.
