I have an accomplished career as an engineering manager and a mechanical engineer working primarily in electrical products switchgear development. I have successfully led numerous advanced New Product Development projects that have introduced innovative products into my company’s industry. Concurrently, I successfully coached and developed a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers toward realizing their own personal potential. Most recently, I ran a team of eight engineers managing multiple high-profile projects which allowed the company to stay ahead of competitors in the development of new products. In this role, I managed changing priorities, coached and evaluated staff members, and streamlined the product development process utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
