As an instructional designer, I collaborate with various departments to develop, design, and deliver comprehensive training programs. I earned the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification from ATD in 2022 and have obtained several other certifications in the field. The APTD certification validates foundational knowledge and skills in talent development, including instructional design, training delivery, and learning technologies.With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, I possess extensive knowledge in personal, life & health, and commercial insurance. I hold a 220 General Agent Lines license and a 620 Adjuster license, in addition to the AAI and AIC designations. Furthermore, I hold s state certified insurance instructor license with the State of Florida. I specialize in training individuals who are new to the insurance industry. I provide comprehensive training to help those without prior insurance experience become proficient in roles such as customer support, underwriting, and claims for a Florida based homeowners insurance carrier. I excel in building strong relationships and connecting with people on a personal level. My ability to understand and address the unique needs of individuals has been instrumental in my success as a trainer and instructional designer. I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels valued and supported.Ethics and integrity are at the core of my professional practice. I adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and ensure that all training programs are developed and delivered with honesty, transparency, and respect for all participants.I was an active member of Real Talkers-Toastmasters, where I earned the Competent Communicator designation. This achievement is particularly significant as it helped me overcome my fear of public speaking. During my time with Toastmasters, I also placed in speaking competitions. I highly recommend Toastmasters for anyone looking to improve their speaking skills.
