Prior to re-joining KPMG Janet integrated multi-million dollar transactions, managed numerous for-profit/not-for-profit green-field joint venture hospital projects, ran the day-to-day operations of a IRF/LTACH company and has extensive experience in acquiring and divesting healthcare businesses in both industry and at KPMG. At KPMG Janet has conducted numerous buy-side and sell-side due diligence investigations in the healthcare industry. Working with private equity and strategic buyers on financial due diligence Janet\'s engagements include targets involved in hospital services, acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery and imaging centers, specialty pharmacies, revenue cycle management, physician practices, IPA’s and post acute care providers including, home health, hospice, skilled nursing, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs and long-term acute care hospitals- Janet has also provided synergy support services and integration assistance services both strategic and financial buyers- Project managed two integrations for one of the largest home health and hospice providers in the USOther industry experience includes- Building a corporate shared services support center to support the growth of a post acute-care company, and responsible for running the day to day operations of the company- Integrating a skilled nursing therapy staffing company into a publicly traded post acute care company; and- Managing the start up process from design, build, licensing, and hiring the management team to operate IRFs and LTACHs in a joint venture arrangement for a for-profit company and not-for-profit hospital systems.
