Janet Miner is an accomplished and versatile music executive with extensive management, music publishing, major record label, digital and producing experience. As VP, Global Film & TV Administration with Universal Music Publishing, she is responsible for Film & TV administration strategic initiatives, while lending guidance and Film & TV expertise to UMP\'s global administration teams. Previously she headed Global Copyright, and was a global lead in the company\'s successful conversion to a new core administration system. She handled Film & TV implementation for US Copyright and led the team integrating BMG’s US & CA catalog into UMP’s operations. When at BMG, she oversaw international administration for the Americas and Asia. As founder and CEO of Wacky Productions Unlimited, Janet handles all legal, financial and administrative operations. She executive produced four award-winning albums for Arigon Starr, guiding the projects from recording to final release. She co-produced Starr’s acclaimed one-woman show “The Red Road,” and edits Starr\'s graphic novel series \"Super Indian.\".Janet previously co-founded RightSpring.com, an e-business streamlining searching, licensing and delivering music to professional users. She invented an automated licensing quotation system and directed development of workflow management, a custom search engine, automatic generation of license agreements and digital delivery of final documents and licensed music. As Sr. Dir. Contract Administration at Windham Hill, she headed the administration of legal and business affairs, including the label’s royalty, copyright and licensing functions. She began her career at MCA Records and Warner Bros.
