This position involves leadership of neuropsychology services in Bradford including the Neuropsychology outpatient service, Community Brain Injury and Epilepsy/NonEpileptic Seizures services. Expert advice is also provided to the Independent Funding Review panel for decision-making relating to inpatient rehabilitation. Responsibilities include: neuropsychological assessment of acquired brain injuries (both non progressive and progressive neurological conditions, including dementia); capacity assessment; therapeutic intervention using third wave cognitive behavioural and systemic interventions; support for behaviour management and consultation services. Service development and supervision of neuropsychologists is also central to the role.

ABOUT JANET HODGSON
Originally from Australia, I moved to the UK after qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist. I have subsequently undertaken further training in the UK to become a Neuropsychologist. I have over seventeen years experience, specialising in working with people with a broad range of neurological conditions. This has included working both in inpatient settings and in the community, in both the public and private sector. Currently I work as the Lead Neuropsychologist in my NHS post at St Lukes’ Hospital in Bradford and also undertake Private Practice. I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC and am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society. I am a member of both the Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP) and the Division of Neuropsychology (DoN), and am on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
