Accounting professional with more than 10 years of accounting experience in the insurance industry. Most recently gaining knowledge in the transportation industry. Involved in Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in various board and committee positions. In addition I have taught Financial and Managerial Accounting for Kirkwood Community College as an Adjunct Professor. I completed my MBA at Mount Mercy University in Nov. 2011 and a Bachelors of Science in Finance in March 2012. In April 2013 completed exams and requirements for CMA (Certified Management Accountant). Also in May of 2018 I completed the exam for CSCA certificate (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis).
