WORK HISTORY
Head of Supplier Engagement @Co-op
A new role, created in 2018 in response to an investigation by the regulator, the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA), with responsibility for delivering sustained behavioral change across our own and our partner organisations.I have developed and lead a change programme comprising of changes to Co-op wide policy, processes, training and, most importantly, culture. The impact has been a step change in how suppliers view their relationship with the Co-op. This is evidenced by the change in ranking in the GCA\'s survey, in which suppliers give feedback to the regulator about retailer compliance to GSCOP. Co-op have moved from 9th/10 in 2017 to 2nd/13 in 2020 for \'Overall Compliance with the Code (GSCOP)\'.Furthermore, in the Advantage Survey, which measures suppliers\' overall relationship with retailers, the Co-op\'s overall net favourable score has climbed from 3 in 2017 (against an industry average of 17) to 25 in 2020 (in line with the industry average of 25).I have developed a highly motivated, high performing team, evidenced by the internal measure of \"Talkback\" scores which show an engagement index of 96% for both 2019 and 2020. I am particularly proud that my team have scored me 100% in the leadership index for both years. This means that 100% of people in my team would recommend me as a manager; and have given positive responses to a list of questions relating to integrity, authenticity and team culture.
