About Janelle King
Over the past 10 years Janelle King has built her career in politics. From volunteering on campaigns to running them, Janelle found herself as a putting her belief into practice as the former Deputy State Director for the Georgia Republican Party. Currently Janelle is a political panelist on the Georgia Gang Television Show and Managing Partner of Kestrel Strategies LLC, where she is contracted as a Government Affairs Officer with Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and Osprey Management Construction firm. As a testament to her and her party’s overall success in Georgia, Republicans recently won the race for the Governor’s office with much of the outcome due to the grassroots and data management leadership of Janelle. Janelle is a top consultant to the G.O.P. for community engagement, public affairs, and diversity initiatives. She has become indispensable in that role due to her impressive and consistent demonstration of her ability to forge relationships between state and national elected officials, top donors and G.O.P. leaders. She is also a former board member for The League of Women Voters Atlanta-Fulton Chapter, former Vice President of Political Affairs and board member for the Atlanta Young Republicans, and former Community Affairs Director/Board Member of the Georgia Young Republicans and former Chair of the Georgia Black Republican Council. Today she serves of the board for Nana Grants. She is a native of New Haven, Connecticut and graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology; she also holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University.
