ABOUT JANELL KIM
How are you? Three important words which we all may have gotten sick of at one point. While these words are often labeled as the must-say greeting upon meeting, they also serve as a door to step into someone\'s life. I embrace this question as an opportunity to dig deeper into the \"why\" of people\'s lives.Using this question as a starting point, I can dive into deeper questions that allow my students to recognize, and maybe verbalize for the first time in a while, how they are really doing, who they are, and, eventually, what they might want to do with their life. My ultimate goal is for students to be seen, heard, and loved where they are, which would propel them to take on challenges and take tangible steps toward finding purpose and fulfillment in their lives. My current work has been a perfect fit as I love connecting with people (especially young students!), learning to be a better listener and leader, adapting to constant change, and being organized and creative.
