   SmartSpider.net, was originally founded by Jane Bradley to address the need for a one-stop resource for professionals, professional services, and consultants. After enjoying success as a studio artiest, she:1. Opened her own gallery in downtown SFE 2. Moved to DeVargas Mall, expanding her business to include framing shops and artist supply stores. The growing fascination with small business development led her to form a consulting group and seek contracts with State, County and City governments for assistance to small and start up businesses.4.Began to actively pursue grants for her target groups and to assist The Santa Fe (1st Judicial District) in writing many grants. Her contract with New Mexico Department of Economic Development, under director, Al Dietz, laid the ground work and set in motion the present day SBDC for the state of New Mexico.6. Was employed by the University of Arkansas to become the first director of the Genesis Business Incubator, her duties were to write a comprehensive incubator program, seek legislative funding and establish a first class, technology based business incubator. All goals were achieved and Genesis was named the number one incubator in the world by the NBIA. Leaving Arkansas, a unique opportunity to work in Russia came along. While initially going to work in Russia as President of the Russian Czars (a professional football team playing in the EFL), Jane was presented with the opportunity to be involved with grants and technology transfer through the Russian Military. After four years of fascinating work, serious family matters brought Jane home to her loved and much missed - New Mexico.
