Slightly belated updateSince April 2024, I’ve been working with the incredible team and partners at NESCAN Hub and as part of The Just Transition Communities Project as a contractor. I \'officially\' became part of the team in July 2025, and I’m very pleased to be involved in such meaningful work. It’s been a privilege to collaborate with a passionate and inspiring group of people, supporting community-led climate action and a just transition. Delighted to finally share this update — responsibilities include PR & Comms strategy and implementation, campaign creation and management, lobbying, mentoring, brand guidelines and tone of voice update, website creation/review/refresh, social media strategy and implementation, day-to-day content creation, support, and community building.

ABOUT JANE BLINKENBERG
I’m a marketing and communications professional focused on turning strategy into action. I take a collaborative, hands-on approach, working with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners - whether this entails working in a team, independently, or with other internal and external stakeholders and agencies - to get things done.Over the past five years, I’ve worked as a marketing and communications lead across projects in the renewable sector, climate action initiatives, sustainable investment, a digitally inclusive SaaS startup, and the North East Scotland Climate Action Network Hub. These experiences have allowed me to combine my passions for technology, sustainability, people, and building communities.My background includes marketing, brand management, content creation, digital communications, engagement, and using events and conferences to connect people and ideas. I enjoy practical, real-world challenges where clear communication helps ideas land, teams collaborate effectively, and progress happen day to day. I’m interested in how empowered people, supported by the purposeful and responsible use of technology, drive more sustainable ways of working, better decision-making, and positive outcomes for organisations as well as the planet. I’m equally committed to achieving the end goal while appreciating the journey along the way.
