I am a Finance and Accounting Executive with proven success in strategic leadership, technical expertise and building high performing teams. I have served in several industries in private equity backed, public, and private organizations, including professional services, software as a service, and nonprofit. I lived in London for several years while working for Deloitte, and with later roles traveled to Latin America, the UK and Poland, while based in Atlanta, Georgia.I have a solid grounding in all aspects of financial leadership and execution as well as collaborating with fellow executives, board members, and employees. I am a creative and strategic thinker and clear communicator. I have transformed accounting and finance functions from underperforming to high achieving, though coaching team members, developing collaborative relationships with operations and executive leadership, implementing efficient and effective practices, and shaping strategy through solid reporting and development of key performance indicators.At the beginning of the pandemic The Arthritis Foundation reduced their team by 75%, including my position. I then excelled in two short-term interim roles requiring strong leadership, analysis, and communication skills. My role at BBQ Guys included preparing the company to go public and upgrading the ERP and finance and accounting practices. Following a change in strategy in early 2023, they executed a reduction in force, including my position.
