ABOUT JANE PLAYLE
Senior finance leader with over 12 years of professional finance experience, including 4 years of audit experience with KPMG.Currently, hold the the position of Senior Director, Accounting at Transunion UK (owned by a US-listed business) leading a team of over 30 individuals. Transunion UK is one of the UK\'s largest credit reference agencies, using data, software (SaaS) and technology to provide Information for Good.Held a number of key finance roles, and was involved in the sale of Callcredit - which was private equity (PE) owned to Transunion in 2018.My time at Callcredit / Transunion UK has been varied and initially being PE owned there was a lot of focus on cashflow, acquisitions, lender reporting and preparing for the adoption of IFRS 15. Then whilst taking on the FP & A role and managing the budgeting and forecasting process, I got heavily involved in the due diligence work for the sale of Transunion, and was part of the management team that presented the financials to the buyers. Post-acquisition, I have been involved in the adoption of SOX, improving processes and controls and moving to the group finance system. More recently my remit has expanded so that I have responsibility for the whole finance operations, as well as the financial control and statutory reporting.
