ABOUT JANE M. K.

With over five years of experience in managing and leading development programs at local and global levels, I am a Manager, Programs at Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF Canada), a non-profit organization that works with co-operatives and community-based organizations to improve the lives and livelihoods of people around the world. I am also a Board Member at Kenya North America Diaspora SACCO KNADS, a co-operative that empowers diaspora women across 23 countries in North America through credible investments, affordable savings, and easy access to credit.As a Manager, Programs at CDF Canada, I spearhead multiple programs within CDF while coordinating and implementing ongoing projects funded by GAC and IFAD. I also coordinate proposal development through consultations with CDF’s Business Development Section, implementing agencies, and CDF’s Global Programs Team. Some of the projects I manage include 4R-NSP in Ethiopia, Ghana, and Senegal, PROFIRA in Uganda, and IRFITCO in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Tanzania. I am adept at full spectrum of operations management, strategic planning and execution, budgeting and forecasting, risk assessment and mitigation, and stakeholder communication. I have a proven track record of identifying operational strengths and weaknesses, proposing corrective measures, and delivering projects within time and budgetary constraints. I am also known for leading and motivating high-performing teams committed to achieving collective goals and shared vision. I hold a PMP certification and I am pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) degree at Carleton University. My mission is to enhance organizational quality, value, and efficiency by utilizing advanced tools and processes, and to contribute to the social and economic development of the communities I serve.
