Within the practice area of labor/employment law, I offer the following legal services:• Counseling clients regarding employment concerns such as wrongful termination, unlawful harassment and discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour compliance, paid and unpaid family leave, paid and unpaid medical leave, reasonable accommodations for disabilities defamation, and business torts. • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of employment contracts, including executive employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, stock option and other forms of equity award agreements, non-competition agreements, separation packages, severance agreements, and general releases.• Investigating alleged employee misconduct, including sexual harassment and other forms of unlawful discrimination and retaliation, preparing neutral, objective reports, and testifying regarding my conclusions.• Training management and staff on a host of employment issues and providing one-on-one remediation counseling when necessary to properly address and resolve incidents.
